Jonathan Haun is a Consultant based in Exiger’s New York office. While at Exiger, Jonathan assisted a multinational investment bank with a transaction monitoring alert remediation. Additionally, he has been involved in several compliance program testing and audit projects, and a KYC remediation for a large Chinese bank.
Jonathan comes to Exiger following a role with J.P. Morgan as an anti-money laundering (AML) AML Analyst. While there, he was responsible for collecting and analyzing transactional, KYC, and open source in order to assess AML risks. Jonathan served as a deputy of his 8 analysts team, and was also involved in serveral support functions, such as implementing updates to production macros, developing a department-wide procedural document, and creating and maintaining a database to improve the department's efficiency.
Prior to his role as an AML Analyst, Jonathan was a know your customer (KYC) Analyst with J.P. Morgan, facilitating client research by using multiple sources of information and by adhering to relevant KYC/BSA policies.He was also responsible for determining the disposition of any open records, properly identifying risks, and escalating derogatory/high risk findings to Senior Management.
Before to his time with J.P. Morgan, Jonathan held a position with Ryan Specialty Group as a Compliance Analyst. In this role, he acted as the first point of contact for clients and vendors, investigated industry laws and regulations, and supported the Market Security division with ad-hoc projects including external-facing reports made from data collected from senior-level management.
