Victor Cabrera is an Investigator, Executive Assistant, based in Exiger’s New York office, where he supports senior executives across all the firm's practice areas.
At Exiger Victor works with senior executives across the practice areas. He provides logistics and administrative support. Victor is also an investigator for the Department of Investigations’ monitorships of Hurricane Sandy Projects and Zoria Housing. Victor also assists with the development of proposals.
Victor joined Exiger from the New York County District Attorney’s Office, where he was Special Projects Manager. In this role, he spearheaded various technological and operations projects, acted as a liaison to the New York Police Department, and provided support to the District Attorney’s Chief of Staff.
Prior to his time at the District Attorney’s Office, Victor was Senior Executive Assistant and Special Projects Administrator to the President and CEO of KeyPoint Government Solutions. There, he conducted various investigative tasks for government entities, such as site inspections for Citizenship and Immigration Services, and applicant interviews for the Department of Homeland Security.
Before this, Victor worked as the Supervising Intake Officer and Guest Defensive Tactics Instructor at the Immigration and Customs Enforcement detention facility. He also spent almost two decades overseeing federal contracts for private security companies under contract with the General Services Administration and the Department of Homeland Security after 9/11, serving as an Office Manager, Director of Training, and Project Manager.
Victor served in the United States Army during Operation Desert Shield, where he oversaw the Communications Security vault for the 2nd Battalion, 29th Field Artillery Division. He currently holds a Top Secret security clearance.
