Exiger Hires Ike Harris and Katie Arrington to Lead New Government Affairs Office

Bipartisan Leaders Tasked with Building Consensus Across the Aisle Around Critical Issues

Exiger, the SaaS company revolutionizing the way corporations, government agencies and banks manage supply chains, today announced that it has hired senior national policy and defense leaders Katie Arrington and Ike Harris to support its new Government Affairs function, designed to prioritize issues of universal consensus like supply chain visibility, AI and national security in an otherwise highly partisan environment.

Arrington, who was the first Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) for the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense (Acquisition and Sustainment) for the Department of Defense (DoD) and led the White House COVID-19 Supply Chain Task Force for Acceleration, joins as Vice President of Government Affairs. Harris, who completed 23 years of active military service as a U.S. Navy officer, joins as Vice President of Government Strategy.

The pair will work together to launch Exiger’s Government Affairs office under President of Government Solutions Carrie Wibben, leveraging existing partnerships to make greater inroads while finding new opportunities to reach across the aisle to elevate productive, bipartisan dialogue, legislation and public policy.

“Katie and Ike bring decades of unique national security experience across the federal government, Congress and private industry to Exiger’s mission to make the world a safer and more transparent place to succeed,” said Wibben. “We’re thrilled to welcome two highly respected and experienced leaders to the Exiger team as we continue our investment in protecting our nation’s critical supply chains. Katie and Ike will play an important role in facilitating Exiger’s deployment of our advanced technology solutions to the frontlines while leveraging their expert knowledge of the threat landscape to bring transparency to urgent risk.”

Arrington has over 20 years of experience in public service. As CISO for the Undersecretary of Defense for Acquisition and Sustainment at DoD, she launched the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification, Trusted Capital Program, NDAA 889 Task Force and Supply Chain Working Group. Arrington served as a key member of the DoD Strategic Cybersecurity Program for Defense Critical Missions and Federal Acquisition Security Council. She served two terms in the South Carolina House of Representatives and sat on the board of the Charleston Defense Contractors Associations. In addition to serving as Vice President of Sales and Operations at Dispersive Technologies, Arrington started the consulting firm LD Innovations.

“Our supply chains and their vulnerabilities are one of the greatest threats to national security,” said Arrington. “I couldn’t be prouder to join Exiger at this critical time in our nation’s history. I know from experience that Exiger is more than a game changer, it’s a culture-breaking capability that brings not only visibility, but solutions to some of the greatest challenges our nation has today and will face tomorrow.”

His impressive experience includes tours across the Pentagon, work in the House of Representatives for Rep. Joe Courtney (D-CT), and commanding the guided missile destroyer USS RAMAGE

“I’m excited to join Exiger at this decisive moment for the nation as we seek to de-risk our vital supply chains,” said Harris. “After serving in uniform for over two decades, this role allows me to continue to contribute to the mission by supporting the delivery of secure systems to our nation. While working for the Undersecretary of Defense for Policy, one of my priorities was the development and delivery of emerging technologies critical to national security, and Exiger’s capability for doing so is unparalleled. I’m eager to continue this mission as a member of the Exiger team.”
