Michael Cherkasky is the co-founder of Exiger and sits on the Board of Directors. Widely regarded as an innovator for his ability to build sustainable bridges between the public and private sectors when implementing law enforcement actions, Cherkasky has led some of the largest and most complex monitorships in history on behalf of the Department of Justice, Financial Conduct Authority, Federal Reserve and U.S. Federal Courts. Prior to Exiger, he served as the Chairman of the New York State Commission on Public Integrity and CEO of Altegrity, Marsh McLennan Companies, Inc. and Kroll. He began his career as an Assistant District Attorney in New York County, before subsequently serving as Trial Bureau Chief, Chief of the Rackets Bureau, and Chief of the Investigations Division. Cherkasky oversaw the BCCI investigation and the trial of organized crime figures like John Gotti. He also led the New York State investigation of the 1993 bombing of the World Trade Center.
