Ryan Hinkle is a Managing Director at Insight Partners and sits on Exiger’s Board of Directors. Hinkle has been at Insight Partners for more than 20 years and worked across many industries, geographies and deal structures, spanning SaaS, internet, and infrastructure software. He has led or participated in over 30 investments including growth equity, leverage buyouts, growth buyouts, and platform roll-ups. Current investments include scaled leveraged buyouts (Optimizely, Diligent, InhabitIQ, CivicPlus), growth SaaS companies (HqO, Plume, iLobby, PayCargo), and growth buyouts (PayIt, Workforce Software). Hinkle has led six IPOs, including Pluralsight and Smartsheet – two of the top SaaS IPOs of 2018. He works closely with investments’ executive management teams and is a key manager of Insight Partners’ Analyst program, which heads up recruiting, training, and mentoring. A lifelong technology enthusiast since early in his career, Hinkle developed real-time trading productivity tools for PPL Corporation and software tools for traders at Morgan Stanley. He has been recognized by Private Equity International’s 40 Under 40 and Growthcap’s 40 Under 40 Growth Investors.
